The board of directors of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) is pleased to announce Julie Scott Soffner as the new Executive Director of the organization, effective May 17, 2021.

A passionate St. Louis native and product of Catholic education, Julie joins TTEF after a 32-year tenure at Enterprise Holdings, where she has held various leadership roles in talent management, business development, sales and client experience. Julie also comes to TTEF with significant nonprofit management experience, as former Executive Director and current Board Chairman of KEEN St. Louis. “I couldn’t be more excited to channel the gifts and talents acquired from my years at Enterprise into God’s work, in service of others. TTEF fulfills my wish and vocation to support educational equity for St. Louis children. I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work alongside this impressive ‘power-team’ at TTEF,” says Julie.

Julie succeeds Sharon Gerken as TTEF Executive Director, who will join Incarnate Word Academy as President on July 1, 2021.

“On behalf of the board of directors of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation, we extend a warm welcome to Julie Soffner,” says TTEF Board Chairman Kevin Short. “As TTEF’s mission continues to grow and expand in service to thousands of St. Louis children and families, I am confident Julie will make an essential contribution to the TTEF mission. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Sharon Gerken for fifteen years of transformative leadership on behalf of Today and Tomorrow. Thanks to Sharon’s strong legacy at TTEF and Julie’s talent and vision, the future of Today and Tomorrow and thousands of scholars looks very bright.”
