The board of directors of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) has elected a new Board Chairman: Gene Diederich.

The board of directors of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) is pleased to announce Gene Diederich has assumed the position of Board Chairman, after 2 years of dedicated board service.

Gene brings a passion for Catholic education and a personal commitment to supporting students and families in St. Louis.

Reflecting on how he first connected with TTEF, Gene shared, “My spouse and I attended Catholic grade schools, and we credit that experience with helping build the foundation of our faith. TTEF gives that same opportunity to children whose families may not otherwise be able to afford a faith-based education.”

When asked what drew him to TTEF’s mission, Gene noted, “The foundation’s work transforms lives by providing access to quality, faith-based education for students who need it most. Serving on the Board is a way to help make that impact possible.”

A moment that stands out to Gene from his time with TTEF was hearing Notre Dame football star Jeremiyah Love speak at the Gala as a CBC senior. “His story of transformation through Catholic education was inspiring for everyone in the room,” Gene said.

Looking ahead, Gene shared excitement about expanding TTEF’s impact: “Through increased funding and programs like Missouri’s 100% tax credit initiative, we can provide scholarships to even more children in need—strengthening both students and our Catholic schools.”

Gene concluded with a message to donors and supporters: “A heartfelt thank-you. Your generosity changes lives. Please continue to keep TTEF and our students in your prayers, and help spread the word about the life-changing impact of this mission.”
