The Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation’s 13th annual Archbishop’s Gala was sold out this year and raised a record $1,031,525 in support of the foundation’s scholarship programs. The evening featured performances from the St. Joseph Cottleville Jazz Band, St. Margaret of Scotland Violinists, the St. Frances Cabrini Student Choir, the Cardinal Ritter College Prep Jazz Ensemble and vocalist Peter Murphy from St. Mary’s High School. Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski and Kevin Short, the chairman of the foundation’s board, presented the Sister Mary Ann Eckhoff Leadership Award to Rita and Mike Mooney. Additionally, Luis Llanos shared his story of receiving a scholarship from the organization, which led to him working with Fortune 500 executives all over the world.

“I am proud that Today & Tomorrow works tirelessly to make Catholic education accessible, affordable and available for those who desire it,” Rozanski says. “One in five Catholic school elementary students in our archdiocese receives a Today & Tomorrow scholarship, made possible by the generosity of those who attend this gala. On behalf of more than 5,200 scholarship recipients, I commend our generous benefactors for investing in the lives of these children.”
