Dear Friend of TTEF,
At the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation, our number one priority during these unprecedented times is the safety of our community. Recognizing the growing impact of COVID-19 and conforming to the new stay at home guidelines, we are writing to inform you that we have made the decision to cancel the Archbishop’s Gala scheduled for April 23, 2020.
We can only imagine how these challenging times are affecting your day to day reality and your family. We want to express our deepest gratitude for your commitment to our mission, and offer up our prayers for your health and safety.
Life as we know it has changed, and these changes have disproportionately affected the communities TTEF serves. The families of our scholars are facing unprecedented economic hardship and job insecurity. Our 119 school partners have transitioned our scholars to distance learning plans to protect the health and safety of each child, and parishes have cancelled Masses through the foreseeable future.
While our TTEF team is working remotely, we are still committed to providing essential tuition assistance scholarships to our families who need us now more than ever! We are continuing to process applications into the 2020-2021 school year. While so many aspects of their lives hang in the balance, our families are comforted knowing TTEF remains a strong, dependable organization they can count on for needed financial support to sustain their children’s educational journey, and a formidable force for good in these challenging times.
While none of us can predict the timetable or outcome of this unique period in time, the knowledge that you stand behind our scholars throughout the good times and the challenging times is the greatest gift you can provide. Because at the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation, we know the time is always right to build the future we all believe in.
As our community faces many unknowns in these uncharted times, we are called to remember what we do know. We know we don’t have to be face to face to support educational opportunity for our scholars. We don’t have to be in the same room to understand the impact your generous support has on the lives and futures of over 4,500 children. We know we don’t have to wonder if the strength of our mission has the power to weather great adversity, because at TTEF we’ve risen to every challenge we’ve faced for nearly 30 years, responding to the need that surrounds us and expanding our mission at every step.
