On February 18, 2020 at 12:30pm, Archbishop Robert J. Carlson bestowed the honor of naming Kevin Short with the Order of the St. Louis the King Award. The award is the highest honor given in the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Kevin Short, CEO of Clayton Capital Partners and Board Chair of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation, was presented with this prestigious honor at the Cardinal Rigali Center in recognition of his consistent, outstanding service to the work of the Church in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, including a lifetime of significant contributions to Catholic education locally and nationally.

Mr. Short’s 35 years of charitable service in Catholic education include more than a decade as Chairman of the Board of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation. Under Kevin Short’s leadership, the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation has grown into the 4th largest elementary school scholarship foundation in the country, having distributed more than $125 million in need-based tuition assistance since its inception. Kevin supports the replication of this model nationally as a board member of The Children’s Scholarship Fund.

“It has been an honor to work alongside Kevin on behalf of the Archdiocese of St. Louis for the past decade, and bear witness to his vision to make Catholic education accessible to thousands more children each year,” says Archbishop Robert J. Carlson.
