The board of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation has elected Lionel J. Phillips as its latest member.

Phillips has been with IBM Corporation for 35 years and currently serves in the role of Executive Systems Architect Manager. In 1988 Lionel was selected as the Outstanding Systems Engineering Manager of the Year for IBM Corporation. He is an active member of the Notre Dame Club of St. Louis, is a member of the Black Alumni Board of Directors for the Notre Dame Alumni Association, He is also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a professional men’s organization dedicated to meeting the needs of African Americans in the areas of health, housing, civil rights and education. In 2011, Lionel was presented with the Diverse Business Leaders award by the St. Louis Business Journal.
