Kevin Short Receives National Seton Award from NCEA

Honoring Lifetime of Charitable Service

 

Kevin Short, CEO of Clayton Capital Partners and Board Chair of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation, will be presented with the prestigious 2018 Elizabeth Ann Seton Award on October 1, 2018 in Washingon, D.C. at the annual Seton Awards Gala. The award recognizes Short’s lifetime of significant contributions to Catholic education in the Archdiocese of St. Louis and nationally.

 

Mr. Short was nominated for this national award by the Office of Catholic Education and Formation of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Interim superintendent Sister Nathalie Meyer praised Mr. Short for “his relentless and unwavering commitment to make quality Catholic education available, affordable and accessible to all children in our community, especially those without options.”

 

Mr. Short’s 35 years of charitable service in education include more than a decade as Chairman of the Board of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation. Under Kevin Short’s leadership, the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation has grown into the 4th largest elementary school scholarship organization in the country, having distributed nearly $100 million in need-based tuition assistance since its inception. Kevin supports the replication of this model nationally as a board member of The Children’s Scholarship Fund.

 

Archbishop Robert J.
